These terms apply to Ashen Hunters, provided by Michael Silvester (“the Developer”). The Simplified Chinese name is 烬夜猎人. Read these terms before use. If you do not agree, stop using the game. Minors should use the game and make purchases with a guardian's guidance.

1. Game and license

Ashen Hunters provides offline, single-player survival action gameplay for iPhone and iPad. Available content depends on the installed version, game instructions, and purchase pages.

Apps obtained through the App Store are licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a valid custom license applies. This page supplements gameplay and purchase rules without limiting rights granted by applicable law.

Use the game through authorized channels. Do not forge purchase access, interfere with payment systems, infringe others' rights, or use the game unlawfully. Code and original assets belong to the Developer or the relevant rights holders. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

2. Free content and progression

Free content includes two characters, six base weapons, and a full playable run. All six maps are free, progressing through Graveyard Garden, Bloodmoon Thicket, Drowned Cathedral, Emberforge Citadel, Frostbite Pass, and Court of Endless Night.

The first map opens immediately. Starting a new run on a later map requires victory on any difficulty in every preceding map. Higher difficulties unlock through each map's progression. Memberships and permanent packs do not remove these requirements.

Earn Soul Embers through gameplay and spend them on features such as talents and run supplies. Supply purchases and loadouts consume resources under the displayed rules; each supply currently costs 1,000 Soul Embers. Soul Embers and supplies have no cash redemption or player-to-player trading and are not currently sold through consumable in-app purchases.

3. Permanent packs

Current permanent packs are one-time, non-consumable purchases without automatic renewal:

• Hunters Pack: Four additional characters.
• Armory Pack: Six additional weapons and their evolutions.
• Wardrobe Pack: Twelve launch skins without stat bonuses. Their characters must be unlocked separately.
• Pets Pack: Three launch pets providing automatic pickup, healing, or attack support. Bring at most one per run.

Each pack covers only the fixed content identified on its purchase page and does not automatically include other packs added in the future. Packs and membership access are calculated separately. Membership expiration does not remove independently purchased packs.

4. Memberships and subscriptions

Monthly and annual memberships are auto-renewable subscriptions. While active, they provide access to all released paid content and features in this app, including additions released during the active period. Lifetime membership is a one-time, non-consumable purchase with no monthly or annual expiration, providing ongoing access to this app's current and future released paid content and features.

Membership grants content access without skipping map, difficulty, or normal progression requirements. Using content during membership does not turn it into a separately purchased permanent pack. Membership applies only to this game.

Prices, currency, periods, and offer eligibility follow the app's purchase pages and Apple's purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew under the confirmed terms unless canceled. Manage them through Manage subscriptions in the game store or Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Turning off renewal generally retains access until the paid period ends.

Buying lifetime membership does not automatically cancel an existing monthly or annual subscription. Review and manage the previous subscription to avoid further renewal charges. Deleting the app, deleting saves, or stopping play does not cancel subscriptions.

5. Restoration, refunds, and changes to access

Use the Apple Account used for purchase and select Restore purchases in the game store to retrieve eligible permanent packs, lifetime membership, or active subscriptions. Restoration does not charge you again. It does not restore deleted local progress, Soul Embers, supplies, or saved runs.

Apple handles payments and refund requests under its applicable rules. Refunds, revocations, or expiration may remove related access without removing other valid independent purchases. When monthly or annual membership ends, saved progress and upgrade records remain, but paid-content access is checked again when starting a new run.

6. Local saves and offline play

The game provides no developer account, server saves, or cross-device progress sync. Progress, Soul Embers, supplies, settings, and run snapshots remain on your device. Deleting the app, losing or damaging your device, or storage problems may cause data loss. The Developer cannot recover it from a cloud copy. System backups and migration depend on Apple and your settings and are not a recovery service guaranteed by this game.

Combat works offline. Purchases, restoration, product loading, and entitlement updates use Apple services. Manage unfinished runs through the game's pause and save controls. Keep the app installed while troubleshooting save problems.

7. Updates and third-party services

New content, fixes, and system compatibility changes are delivered through App Store updates. Future content and release timing depend on actual version notes. Material changes to purchase access or information handling follow applicable law and platform rules, with appropriate explanation.

See the Privacy Policy for information handling. Apple's distribution, purchase, and subscription services have their own terms and policies. Unless applicable terms provide otherwise, the Developer maintains and supports the game.

8. Other terms and contact

You may stop using the game at any time, but must manage auto-renewal separately. The game is provided as available and is not guaranteed to work on every device or be error-free. Any limitation of liability does not exclude liabilities that applicable law prohibits excluding or your statutory consumer rights.
